Exeter's city-wide cocktail festival returns to the city this summer with exclusive menus, cocktail events and workshops in the city's most-loved bars.

We’re on a mission to raise the city's cocktail scene and showcase the brilliant bartenders and bars that grace the city.

Key Festival Summary

How it works:

Whether a cocktail aficionado or just need a reason to get the gang together for a day out in the city, Exeter Cocktail Week offers the perfect excuse to explore the city, visit new and forgotten bars, and discover new cocktail concoctions from the city's best bartenders.

Attendees purchase a ticket, which they exchange for a wristband and festival guidebook with venue map. The wristband is the key to the festival, granting access to exclusive cocktails in all participating venues, as well as a program of events, tastings and parties. The festival guide lists the cocktails available as well as information about the venues and brands involved.

Venue Information

There are zero fees for venues to get involved. Just your time, creativity and help with promotion.

Venues will be provided with content, posters, flyers and photos to help with promotions.

We’ll line up media and PR opportunities to get involved with.

We’ll do what we can to showcase Exeter’s nightlife scene and it doesn’t end with cocktail week, let us know about promotions, new menus and breaking news for us to share with our mailing list.

Cocktails

The cocktails and offers must only be provided to attendees with a valid wristband and must be exclusive to Exeter Cocktail Week. They must not be available for at least 2 months prior to and post-festival, (at least under the same name and price).

Bars must offer at least one £5 recipe. It is optional to include a no/low alcohol or showcase recipe.

Showcase recipes are those that showcase a partner brand or local producer, these recipes will receive extra exposure through either our channels, press or marketing partners. Venues are free to work with or include any brand of their choosing for their menu. Brands may pledge support for venues that use their product during Exeter Cocktail Week, there are no obligations to use their product. Please request the latest list of brand support or visit the venue hub.

Food

Food deals, pairings and special cocktail-inspired dishes have performed well previously and with many attendees venturing out for the entire day we want to make sure their brunch, lunch and dinner are covered by cocktail week venues.
